Tripura registers 10 fresh COVID-19 cases

10 more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Tripura on Monday. The number of positive cases in the state has risen to 1,082.

The fresh cases were detected out of 1,529 samples sent for testing, The cases include 9 from Sepahijala district and 1 from South Tripura district.

All positive patients have travel history to other parts of the country.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb tweeted, “10 people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE in Tripura today out of 1529 samples tested. All of them have travel history.”

The count includes: (Sepahijala District: 9, South District: 1),” Deb added.


Earlier, 18 more people were found COVID-19 positive in Tripura. All of them are from the state’s Sepahijala District and have travel history.
