Tripura coronavirus cases surpass 1,000-mark; 37 more test +ve

The COVID-19 tally in Tripura crossed the 1,000-mark as 37 more tested positive for the virus on Saturday, taking the total number of cases to 1,001. Out of 210 tested

The COVID-19 tally in Tripura crossed the 1,000-mark as 37 more tested positive for the virus on Saturday, taking the total number of cases to 1,001.

Out of 210 tested samples, results of 37 turned out positive, of which, 34 are from Sepahijala district and three from Gomati district. All patients had recent travel history.

“Out of 210 samples tested for COVID-19, 37 Cases found positive. All of them have travel history,” Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb tweeted on Saturday.

Earlier on Friday, of 1750 tested samples, 39 more persons had tested positive for coronvirus.

So far, a total of 278 people have recovered from the disease and the active cases stands at 723.
