Tripura’s COVID-19 tally count continues to increase with each passing day. The state registered 102 fresh positive cases on Wednesday, taking the overall tally to 622.
The fresh cases have emerged from 728 samples that were tested. The active cases has now increased to 449. Reportedly, most of the fresh cases travel history or had contact with already positive patients.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet at 11.41 pm on Wednesday informed that 728 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day, out of which 102 were found positive.
Deb said that most of the infected patients have travel history and came into contact with COVID-19 positive cases.
“Out of 728 samples tested today, 102 people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE. Most of them have travel history and contact’s,” said Biplab Deb tweeted.
