Six new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nagaland’s Dimapur after 90 new samples were tested on Tuesday.

All the infected individuals have returned from Chennai recently. The state’s overall tally of coronavirus cases now stands at 49, with no recoveries.

All the fresh cases have been reported from Dimapur. This takes the total number of active cases in the state to 49.

State health minister S Pangnyu Phom informed on his Twitter handle, ” Out of 90 samples tested from Chennai returnees, 5 Male & 1 Female has tested COVID-19 +ve. All cases are from Dimapur.”
