Three more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Monday night. Out of the 323 samples that were tested at VRDL in RIMS, 3 samples were found positive.
According to reports, all 3 individuals are from Imphal West district. With this, the total tally of active cases in the state went up to 35 while there have been 39 positive cases so far.
Meanwhile, Northeast Live spoke with RIMS medical superintendent Dr Arunkumar who stated that 414 samples were tested yesterday, out of which 3 samples tested positive.
All 3 persons are returnees from outside the state. One had come in from Jorhat in Assam, while the other 2 persons had returned from Chandigarh and Delhi respectively.
