15 more persons test positive for COVID-19 in Kamrup (M) taking the tally in Assam to 79.

All positive cases are related to the patient from Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar, who recently tested positive for the deadly virus.

Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “15 persons are tested #COVID19 + in Kamrup Metro. All are related to patient from Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar, who tested + recently. All under quarantine and please don’t panic.”

The number of active cases in the state now stands at 37 and 39 discharged.
