2 more tests COVID-19 positive in Assam

Two more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Assam on Friday.  The total number of positive cases in the state has reached 58. Both patients hail from Cachar district

Two more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Assam on Friday.  The total number of positive cases in the state has reached 58.

Both patients hail from Cachar district and had travelled in the bus which ferried people from Rajasthan.

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “There are 2 more #COVID19 + patients who travelled in the bus which ferried people from Rajasthan. They’re from Cachar district.

Total #COVID19 patients in Assam 58 (Active cases 23).”

Earlier in the day, 3 persons, who travelled in the bus from Rajasthan were tested positive for the deadly virus.
