Two more troopers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) from Assam – Kumud Kalita of Kamrup and Ranbir Limbu of Udalguri have tested positive for COVID-19 in Delhi.
Both jawans belong to the CRPF’s 31st Battalion. Ikramul Hussain, a sub-inspector of the same battalion who hailed from Barpeta district died on Tuesday because of COVID-19.
The family members of the CRPF jawans alleged that they are not receiving adequate treatment in Delhi.
The families of both the jawans appealed the state government for assistance to bring them back to the Assam for treatment.
