COVID-19 lockdown: Kamrup (M) district admin fixes timings for wholesale and retail stores

Kamrup (Metropolitan) district administration has fixed the timings for opening of whole sale and retail shops in the district during the lockdown period which was imposed to prevent the outbreak

Kamrup (Metropolitan) district administration has fixed the timings for opening of whole sale and retail shops in the district during the lockdown period which was imposed to prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus.

The whole sale shops will remain open from 8 AM to 4 PM every day. On the other hand, retail shops including fair price shops, departmental stores, shopping malls (only for grocery section) will remain open from 9 AM to 6 PM daily. The order which has come into effect from today has been issued by the deputy commissioner and chairman of district disaster management authority.

The order also asked the shop keepers to sanitize their shops in a routine interval and maintain social distance between their staff and customers.
