A red carpet was laid out for President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump enroute their way to the Motera Stadium from the Airport.

Addressing the jam packed Motera Stadium, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the India-US relation is no longer just another partnership. It is rather a closer relationship.

Prime Minister Modi said that the visit of President Trump is a new chapter in the relations between India and the United States.

A chapter, which will become a new document of progress and prosperity of the people of America and India.

President Donald Trump was also not too far behind when it came to appreciating India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who he described as a true friend of the US.

Trump said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a moving example of incredible rise. Trump also said that the United States looks forward to provide India with some of the best and most feared military equipment.

The US President also announced that tomorrow representatives from both the sides will sign deals of over 3 billion dollars, in military helicopters and other equipment for the Indian armed forces.

Trump also emphasized on the role India has to play to shape a better future of the Asia-Pacific region.

Donald Trump, who is on a two-day visit, was received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.
