The police is seeking a remand for YP Singh who was brought back to the State on Wednesday morning after he was arrested at Ghaziabad in Delhi NCR on February 17.
YP Singh was absconding for almost 5 months, since an FIR into the alleged scam was lodged at the West Agartala Police Station.
Other than YP Singh, former Tripura PWD Minister and senior CPI-M leader Badal Choudhury and former Chief Engineer Sunil Bhowmick are also prime accused in the case.
