Three more bodies were recovered from the Teesta river on Saturday, a day after 5 persons, including four of a family drowned in the river on January 24.
Earlier on Friday, the body of Sakhi Rai was recovered from the river.
The NDRF on Saturday, fished out the ill-fated car from the water body. Search and rescue operations are currently underway to trace the remaining body of one more person.
The persons who were on board the ill-fated car were identified as – Chandan Rai, Tulsi Rai, Sargam Rai, Sakkhi Rai and their driver Deodut Tamang.
Five people, including four of the same family drowned after the car they were travelling in fell into the Teesta river at Lekhubir along Sikkim-West Bengal border.
