In a shocking incident of robbery and murder, a person named Paresh Chandra Baruah was murdered on Tuesday in Guwahati.

The incident took place on Tuesday night when miscreants barged into the victim’s house, while he was alone.

After murdering Baruah, the miscreants looted valuables from the house. His wife, on returning home, found her husband’s body with injuries in the head.

Baruah, a retired engineer is survived by his wife and two children who lives abroad. Meanwhile, police have started investigating the incident.
