The Imphal district and sessions court has granted bail to social media blogger RK Ichanthoibi.

The 27-year-old blogger was arrested by the police following a post on social media where she had criticized the Chief Minister N Biren Singh and his government.

It may be mentioned that RK Ichanthoibi was arrested on December 12. Earlier, the court had rejected Ichanthoibi’s bail plea and sent her to 15 days judicial custody.
