The duo will be landing at the Vijaynagar ALG in an AN-32 aircraft with other senior IAF and army officials.

This will be the 8th Advanced Landing Ground, which will be made operational by the Air Force.

Other seven ALGs which have been made operational by the Eastern Air Command are at Pasighat, Mechuka, Walong, Tuting, Ziro, Along and Tawang.

The Vijayanagar ALG is situated in a remote corner of Arunachal Pradesh, very close to the international border with Myanmar, and is not connected with any motorable road.
