The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has released photos of militants suspected to be involved in the assassination of NPP MLA Tirong Aboh in Arunachal Pradesh.
The five militants who are allegedly involved in the killing are- Ravi Wangno, Ellie Ketok, Absolon Tangkhul, Victor Tangkhul and Apem. It may be mentioned that Kilonser Ravi Wangno, Ellie Ketok and Apem carry bounties of Rs 2 lakh each; while Absolon Tangkhul and Victor Tangkhul carry bounties of Rs 3 lakh each.
Besides, the NIA has also announced cash reward for anyone who provides information on the whereabouts of these militants.
42-year-old Khonsa West MLA Tirong Aboh was shot dead along with his son, family members and others near Bogapani in Arunachal Pradesh while they were returning from Dibrugarh in Eastern Assam.
The gruesome incident took place barely 36 hours before the declaration of results for both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Arunachal.
