Three days and yet no luck in retrieving in any of the three bodies which drowned in the tragic boat incident at Noa Dihing River in Tinsukia district of Assam on Thursday.
Extensive rescue operations are underway but the missing persons have not been traced so far.
In a tragic boat incident, 3 people out of a total 8 were reported to have drowned into the rising waters of Noa Dihing River at Tenga-panighat in Tinsukia.
8 people were sailing on a country-made boat that capsized after getting stuck in a whirlpool. 5 people managed to survive the tragedy.
The other 3, one of whom was a woman, were swept away by the strong undercurrents of the river.
