A moderate-intensity earthquake hit the Northeast at 1:15 pm on Thursday.
Earthquake tremors has been reported from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. As per reports, he epicentre of the quake has been identified at Senapati district of Manipur.
According to the US Geological Survey, the quake measured 5.3 magnitude on the Richter Scale. No casualty or damage to property have been reported so far.
