Guwahati: Minor Girl Dies After Construction Materials Fall On Her

Local residents in the area have alleged that the building has been constructed by flouting norms.

In a horrific incident, a 5-year-old minor girl lost her life after building construction materials from a nearby under-construction building fell on her.

The tragic incident took place around 5 pm on Monday in the Chatribari area of Guwahati.

As per inputs, the minor was inside their rented accommodation when the huge slab of stone fell from the under-construction Sipani Complex building.

She died on the spot.

Local residents in the area have alleged that the building has been constructed by flouting norms.

Following the incident, Paltan Bazar police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the accident.
