Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal on Saturday graced the ongoing 21st National Janajati Sports Meet held at Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education sports complex ground in Guwahati.

The Mega sports meet of the Akhil Bharatiya Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram (ABKA) is aimed at identifying sports talent among Janajati’s to provide training and platform to excel to highest standards.

About 1200 young sports persons in 33 teams representing various states are participating in the sporting event.

Goyal also expressed hope that the young participants of the sports meet shall go far ahead in their sports careers and bring laurels to the nation.
