The ruling BJP is gearing up to accomplish its mission of winning 11 Lok Sabha seats out of a total 14 in Assam.
BJP’s campaign is set to begin on a big note with Prime Minister Narendra Modi slated to sound the poll bugle by addressing a party rally at Silchar in Assam’s Barak valley on January 4.
Assam BJP president Ranjit Dass who is overviewing the party activities ahead of the prime minister’s visit also expressed confidence that the party will definitely reach its target of winning 11 Lok Sabha seats.
