Two BJP leaders join Congress in Manipur

Two BJP leaders from Manipur joined the Congress on Friday. The two former BJP leaders are former minister M Hemanta, who has also been the former vice president BJP’s Manipur

Two BJP leaders from Manipur joined the Congress on Friday.

The two former BJP leaders are former minister M Hemanta, who has also been the former vice president BJP’s Manipur unit, and Maulana Hussain Ahmed Qasmi, who was the organising secretary of the BJP’s Minority Morcha in Manipur.

The two leaders were formally inducted into the Congress on the occasion of the party’s 134th Foundation Day at Congress Bhawan in Imphal.

Three other BJP members also joined the Congress in the same ceremony.
