CM N Biren Singh Said, "I appeal to all the people of the state to forgive and forget the past mistakes and let us make a new Manipur for Development

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has once again made a big peace appeal to the people of the state. He urged the people of the state to forgive and forget and start a new phase.

The Chief Minister attended the Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Thambal Sanglen as part of the 15-day campaign to commemorate the 75-year journey of the Indian Constitution.

Speaking to the media on the sideline of the event, CM N Biren Singh said, “I appeal to all the people of the state to forgive and forget the past mistakes and let us make a new Manipur for Development and peace.”

Speaking about the Indian Constitution, CM N Biren Singh said, “I thank and appreciate Prime Minister Narendra Modi because the policy which was adopted and instructed by him to know the Constitution from the grassroot to the top is amazing.”
The Manipur CM also tore into Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accusing him of not respecting the Parliament.

CM N Biren Singh pointed out the irony of Rahul Gandhi holding the Constitution in his hands and calling for its protection in Parliament, while simultaneously disrespecting the institution.

“There are no leaders in the world who wear a T-shirt inside Parliament, but he does, showing disrespect to the Parliament,” CM Biren Singh said.
