Woman Stabbed In Assam’s Dibrugarh, Second Incident in Less Than 24 Hours

As per inputs, the victim, identified as Keshalata Hazarika was returning home after closing her shop when the miscreants attacked her.
The increasing frequency of stabbing incidents in Assam has sparked serious concerns about public safety, particularly for women. A shocking incident of another stabbing case has come to the fore from Assam’s Dibrugarh, where a lady was stabbed by unknown miscreants before fleeing with cash.
The sensational incident has been reported from Lahowal in Eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
As per inputs, the victim, identified as Keshalata Hazarika was returning home after closing her shop when the miscreants attacked her.
While being attacked the victim raised an alarm prompting locals nearby to come to her rescue.
Soon thereafter, the victim was rushed to the Assam Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
It has been learnt that 2 miscreants had attacked the woman.
It needs to be mentioned that a young girl was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight by a man in Guwahati yesterday.
The assailant, identified as Bhupen Das, after brutally attacking her, stabbed himself and is in hospital now. Bhupen Das is a resident of Nalbari and a cab driver in Guwahati.
The victim has been identified as Mousumi Gogoi, a resident of Dibrugarh. She had come to Guwahati just last month and was working for an NGO in the city.
She was waiting for a Rapido ride when the attack took place.
She was stabbed multiple times in the neck, hand, and abdomen.
Locals rushed her to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) to save her life however, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
