KNPN initiated discussions with the Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association (MATA) to explore a sponsorship deal for Pansy.

Seventeen-year-old Pansy Rampanzeli, a rising Taekwondo star from Mizoram, has grabbed the spotlight with her exceptional talent. Despite not advancing to the quarterfinals in the Junior Individual category at the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship, her performance impressed KNPN, a leading global company in Taekwondo Protector & Scoring System (PSS) technology, widely used at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Following the championship, KNPN initiated discussions with the Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association (MATA) to explore a sponsorship deal for Pansy. Although the details are still under negotiation, her achievements have already made waves back home.

A class IX student at Mt. Carmel School in Aizawl, Pansy began her Taekwondo journey three years ago at the Exodus Taekwondo Club. Her meteoric rise includes titles as National Junior Champion and National Champion of Champions. Competing in the World Championship in Hong Kong was made possible through sponsorships from Mizoram’s Women & Child Development Department and MATA.

Pansy has won 64 medals in state and national competitions, showcasing her immense potential and earning her a place among the nation’s most promising athletes.
