APSC 2016 results declared; Maria Tanim tops exam

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) announced the results for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE 2016) for a total of 205 posts on Friday, November 16. While, 95 successful candidates
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) announced the results for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE 2016) for a total of 205 posts on Friday, November 16.
While, 95 successful candidates cleared CCE 2016 as Assam Civil Service (Junior Grade) officers.
A total of 60 candidates have been selected for the Land & Revenue department. 3 candidates have been selected for Assam Police, 3 as Labour department officials, 2 as Income Tax Superintendents, 5 candidates have made it as Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, 7 as Labour Inspectors, 12 candidates have been selected as Excise Inspectors and 10 candidates have made it as Assistant Employment Officers.
Maria Tanim of Hailakandi district is the first position holder, while Munmi Saikia came second and Nirmal Jyoti Sarmah was third in the list of successful candidates.
