Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has refused to intervene directly into the ongoing matters of NEHU. Sangma, who has been closely monitoring the situation in the university, emphasized that the state government’s priority lies in safeguarding the larger interests of the students. He added that the state government remains ready to provide support or inputs whenever required, particularly when it aligns with the interests of the student community.
