Tripura Police Destroys 48,000 Cannabis Plants Across Several Hectares of Forest Land

In a major crackdown on illegal drug cultivation, Tripura Police, in collaboration with the Border Security Force (BSF), Forest Guards, and Excise Department, destroyed around 48,000 marijuana plants being illegally cultivated in reserve forest areas. The operation took place on Sunday in Monaipathar, Hetalia, Woangcherra, and Kamala-kantapara under the jurisdiction of P R Bari police station in bordering South Tripura district.
