Meghalaya To Tackle ‘VIP Culture’ With New SOP on Sirens, Tinted Glasses And Flickering Lights
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma today announced that the government will come up with a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on the use of sirens, tinted glasses, and flickering lights in the state, and the same will be strictly implemented to minimise the inconvenience caused to the public. The Chief Minister flagged grave concern over the matter and said that he received large number of complaints from citizens.
