Hundreds of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission examination aspirants took to the streets again today protesting against the alleged mismanagement and corruption within the commission.
The aggrieved APPSCE aspirants assembled in front of Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s residence chanting slogans seeking the Chief minister’s intervention into the ongoing crisis.
However, police and paramilitary forces deployed around the CM’s residence dispersed the agitators who then moved towards the Circuit House in the state capital.
The aspirants have been staging vehement protests against the APPSC since Friday alleging major discrepancies in its examination pattern.
The protesters also decried the use of police force against a peaceful agitation and alleged that a section of aspirants were forcefully held inside the examination centre despite their request to allow them to join the protest.
The protesters are demanding reconduct of examinations in the wake of the alleged anomalies.
