Minister of state for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, who is on a 2 day visit to Nagaland, inaugurated a Women Police Station at Kiphire on Saturday.

After attending a cabinet meeting in the district the union minister also announced various developmental projects for the district.

Besides, Nagaland Chief Minister Nephiu Rio also announced establishment of Women Police Station in other districts of the state.

He also informed about Nagaland Government’s plan on enforcing 33% reservation for women in State Police services.
