After 10 grueling days of a hunger strike, Sandy Sohtun, President of NEHUSU, has been admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Civil Hospital, Shillong. As per inputs, Sandy’s health severely deteriorated, with blurred vision and other alarming symptoms indicating potential complications in his internal organs. It may be mentioned, that the Union Education Ministry has set up a 2-member inquiry committee on the NEHU issue.
