Amid the fresh firing, locals from Churachandpur claimed that armed men from the valley side set fire on paddy fields leading to big losses for the farmers. Meanwhile, with firing along periphery areas like Siden, Changpikot, Seitul and Kotlenphai areas, the KSO Churachandpur made an announcement for emergency clearance along the Tedim road. All shops downed shutters and vehicle movement reduced along the route after the announcement.
