Assam Man Commits Suicide After Killing His 7-Year-Old Son

The accused, identified as Mikagang Saikia reportedly smothered his son, Iman, with a pillow until the boy stopped breathing.
In a shocking incident, a man in Assam’s Gohpur hanged himself after allegedly smothering his 7-year-old son to death this morning.
The killed his son around 7 pm yesterday while the child’s mother was not at home.
The accused, identified as Mikagang Saikia reportedly smothered his son, Iman, with a pillow until the boy stopped breathing.
As per reports, Saikia fled the scene on a scooter shortly after the incident.
But police found his body today morning, 3kms away from his home.
