Student’s Body Wrapped In Blanket, Found By Roadside In Dimapur’s Walford Colony

The deceased student has been identified as Noghuvi K Sumi, a final-year student pursuing Bachelor's in Theology.
A wave of shock and concern gripped Dimapur in Nagaland after the body of a 29-year-old student was found by the roadside in Walford area on Sunday morning.
The body of the student, wrapped in a blanket, was discovered by local residents who then informed the police. A case of murder has been registered and an investigation is underway.
The deceased student has been identified as Noghuvi K Sumi, a final-year student pursuing Bachelor’s in Theology.
Noghuvi’s body was sent to the District Hospital for a post-mortem examination and the report is awaited. The body has been handed over to his family.
Meanwhile, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland has claimed that the student was murdered, fuelling public anxiety. The organization has called for a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the incident to ensure justice for Noghuvi and his family.
