Nagaland: Sumi Hoho Holds Meet With Sümi Naga Political Group Leaders
In a bid to strengthen intra-tribal bonds and contribute positively to the broader Naga society, the Sumi Hoho held a meeting with the Western Sumi Hoho and its allied organizations and discussed ways to achieve the purpose. The meeting was also attended by Sümi leaders from Naga national political groups, Sümi elders and church leaders. During the discussions, leaders unanimously underscored the need for the Sümi leadership to embody unity, both in principle and in practice. The Sümi Hoho highlighted the importance of political leaders actively engaging with the public to build trust and ensure transparency.
