Tripura: After 5% DA Increase To State Govt Employess CM saha Promises To Support Employees

A day after announcing a five percent hike in dearness allowance (DA) and dearness relief (DR) for state government employees and pensioners, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha today reieterated commitment to supporting state employees despite Tripura’s financial strain. During the CM’s visit to a Kali temple in Agartala on the occasion of Kali Puja and Diwali, Saha said that his government has no intention of depriving government employees, despite the state recently getting affected due to one of the worst floods in recent years that led to an estimated loss of Rs 15,000 crores.
