Assam finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma handed over land pattas to hundreds of landless families in eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
A special program was held at the India Club where the minister handed over the land pattas in presence of Dibrugarh MP Rameswar Teli besides many other MLAs.
Earlier, on Sunday Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the program of handing over land pattas and allotment letters to approximately 11,500 landless local families in the state.
