Northeast Frontier Railway has announced the operation of five special trains for candidates across Assam.
Ahead of the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) tomorrow, the Northeast Frontier Railway has announced five special trains for the convenience of candidates across Assam.
The special trains will run a single round trip in both directions, ensuring that examinees can reach their destinations comfortably and on time. Below are the details of the special services:
- Train No. 05101/05102 (Karimganj – Silchar – Karimganj) Exam Special: Departing from Karimganj at 04:00 hours on October 27, this train will arrive in Silchar at 06:40 hours. The return train from Silchar will leave at 21:00 hours, reaching Karimganj at 23:40 hours. Key stops include New Karimganj, Bhanga, and Badarpur.
- Train No. 05119 (Mariani – Narangi) Exam Special: This service will depart from Mariani at 15:35 hours on October 26, arriving in Narangi at 05:00 hours on October 27. The return journey will see Train No. 05120 leave Narangi at 15:30 hours on October 27, reaching Mariani at 04:00 hours on October 28. Important stations along this route include Jorhat Town and Dimapur.
- Train No. 05139/05140 (Haibargaon – Guwahati – Haibargaon) Exam Special: Departing from Haibargaon at 14:00 hours on October 26, this train will arrive in Guwahati at 18:15 hours. The return trip from Guwahati will be on October 27, leaving at 15:00 hours and reaching Haibargaon at 20:00 hours. Significant stops include Raha and Jagiroad.
- Train No. 05456 (Alipurduar – Kamakhya) Exam Special: Scheduled to leave Alipurduar at 17:00 hours on October 26, this train will arrive in Kamakhya at 04:30 hours the next day. The return train will depart from Kamakhya at 15:30 hours on October 27, arriving back in Alipurduar at 03:30 hours on October 28. Key stations include New Coochbehar and Boko.
- Train No. 05679/05680 (Jamira – Silchar – Jamira) Exam Special: This train will leave Jamira at 04:00 hours on October 27, arriving in Silchar at 07:10 hours. The return journey will have the train departing Silchar at 15:30 hours, and arriving back in Jamira at 19:00 hours the same day. Important stops along this route include Hailakandi and Katakhal.
The introduction of these special trains is a significant step in ensuring that candidates can travel efficiently and comfortably to participate in the ADRE, which plays a crucial role in their career prospects.
