Assam: Wife Suspected in the Murder of Her Husband in Kokrajhar

The deceased has been identified as Buluroddin Paramanik, whose body was recovered from his room on Monday.

In a shocking incident, a woman in the Kokrajhar district of Assam is suspected to have killed her husband.

The incident has been reported from Choto Bodiaguri in Bhotgaon village of Kokrajhar.

As per inputs, the deceased has been identified as Buluroddin Paramanik, whose body was recovered from his room on Monday.

The Father of the victim has suspected that Bulloroddin was allegedly murdered by his wife Morjina Begom and her brother Mustafa Ali with full planning.

However, upon being informed by the family and local villagers, the Kokrajhar Police quickly responded to the scene and later, arrested the suspected culprits, Morzina Begom and Mustafa Ali, who are now in police custody.

Prithviraj Rajkhowa, the additional superintendent of police in Kokrajhar district, confirmed that preliminary investigations indicate it was a case of murder.

“ The actual cause of death will only be determined after a postmortem examination,” SP Rajkhowa stated.

The case has left the local community in shock as the investigation continues.
