Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur has assured to take up necessary steps to make the Pakyong Greenfield Airport as a pivotal gateway for commerce and tourism in the Himalayan state.
Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur has assured to take up necessary steps to make the Pakyong Greenfield Airport as a pivotal gateway for commerce and tourism in the Himalayan state. To get a firsthand experience of the operational challenges impacting the operations at the airport, Governor Mathur was at the airport and deliberated with different stakeholders. The Governor engaged in dialogue with Pamin Lepcha, MLA Gnathang Machong, DC Pakyong and airport officials, who articulated their apprehensions regarding the obstacles faced in relation to the airport’s operations.
