Several activists of the United Committee Manipur besides common people took part in a mass rally in Imphal urging the Centre not to compromise with the territorial integrity of Manipur while signing the Naga Peace Accord.

Meanwhile, UCM secretary general KH Athouba talking to Northeast Live demanded that the idea of Manipur remains intact.

The UCM leader further said that the political, territorial, historical and ethnic identity should remain as one political entity and that the Government of India should never ever attempt to threaten or compromise Manipur’s territorial integrity
