NH 27 In Deplorable State: Trucks Carrying Essential to Other NE States Stranded In Dima Hasao
Hundreds of trucks carrying essential commodities have been stranded between Mahur and Jatinga in Assam’s Dima Hasao for the past 2 weeks now. The trucks carrying goods to other Northeast states have been stranded owing to the slow pace of construction work on the National Highway 27 creating trouble both for commuters and truckers alike. The truckers are running out of ration and are facing other basic issues. Moreover, there is no certainty when the road will open for heavy vehicles.
