Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio Demands External Affairs Minister To Halt Auction Of Naga Human Remains In UK Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has written an urgent letter to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar seeking his intervention to stop the proposed auction of Naga human remains scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom. According to reports, the remains, taken by British colonizers over a century ago, are considered scared and emotional to the Nagas and the proposed auction has sparked widespread outrage and concern. The Forum for Naga Reconciliation had approached Chief Minister Rio to intervene and address the issue.
