Indian Army Highlights Youth as Catalysts for Change, Fosters Strong Ties with Local Community

The Indian Army organized an Interactive Youth Empowerment Programme on Saturday at St. George School in Moreh, Tengnoupal District, and Manipur Public School in Koirengei, Imphal East District, Manipur. The event aimed to empower young minds and promote the holistic development of the youth.

This initiative by the Indian Army underscores the importance of empowering the nation’s youth and highlights their vital role in community development, peacebuilding, and nation-building.

A motivational talk by an Army officer inspired students to set ambitious goals and strive to achieve them. The audience also learned about various career opportunities in the Armed Forces, government schemes for youth empowerment, and scholarships to support higher education and competitive exam preparations.

Around 300 students actively participated in the session, which covered important topics such as maintaining a healthy lifestyle, financial planning, and the need for balancing academics, sports, and extracurricular activities for overall growth.
