Meghalaya Govt Postpones Physical Efficiency Test for Sub Inspector and Guardsmen Recruitment Due To Rainfall The Meghalaya government has postponed the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors and Guardsmen in the Home Guard and Civil Defence Directorate due to unfavorable ground conditions caused by heavy rains. Minister in charge, Coming One Ymbon, informed the media that out of 22,424 applicants for 445 posts, those who appeared for the PET on October 2nd and 3rd will be allowed to retake the test, as their performance was affected by the poor ground conditions.
