Assam: Truck Rams into Ambulance Carrying Dead Body, 6 Injured

In a horrific road accident, at least 6 persons were grievously injured after a speeding truck rammed into an ambulance carrying a dead body at Narayanpur in Assam’s Lakhimpur district on Saturday morning.

The ambulance was going from Tezpur’s Times Medical to Lakhimpur when it was hit by the truck at Block Tiniali.

The injured were immediately rushed to Lakhimpur Medical College Hospital (LMCH) for treatment.
The identity of the injured persons is yet to be ascertained.

Further investigation is underway.
