Tipra Motha Founder Pradyot Debbarma Meets Tripura CM Manik Saha Ahead of First Tiprasa Accord Meet in New Delhi

Ahead of the first meeting in New Delhi tomorrow to discuss the implementation of the Tiprasa Accord, TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma met Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha and deliberated on several key issues pertaining to the welfare of the indigenous Tiprasas.
Pradyot Debbarma was also accompanied by MLAs of the TIPRA Motha. In a post on X, Chief Minister Saha mentioned that his government is fully committed to the welfare and development of the indigenous community in the state.

CM Saha wrote, “Today, met with the Tipra Motha MLAs in the presence of Maharaj PradyotManikya Ji, the founder of the party. During the meeting, we discussed various development and welfare issues concerning our Janajati brothers and sisters. Our government is fully committed to the welfare and development of the Janajati community in the state.”

Tripura royal scion Debbarma who has been drawing a lot of flak from opposition parties – Congress and CPI-M for alleged delay in implementing the Tiprasa Accord, in tweet wrote, “Tomorrow we represent our people not our party ! This is bigger than an individual dream it’s about standing up for our next generation”.

Tomorrow’s meeting in New Delhi will be the first meeting of the six-member Joint Working Group or Committee for the implementation of the Accord that was signed in March this year.
