Mizoram is staring at an acute shortage of fuel and essential commodities. The deplorable condition of the National Highway 306 and 6 between Silchar to Sairang has left scores of tankers and trucks carrying essentials stranded along the route. This has led to a shortage in supply of both fuel and other items to state capital Aizawl and elsewhere.
