Assam: Bangladeshi National Arrested After 12 Years of Living Illegally in State

Uddin had been residing in the home of Taj Uddin Chowdhury in Dhanipur, where he was introduced as Chowdhury’s son.
Assam police have arrested a Bangladeshi national who had been residing in Assam illegally for the past 12 years.
The Bangladeshi infiltrator has been identified as Md. Siham Uddin.
Siham Uddin was arrested from Dhanipur village under Lala Police Station in Hailakandi district last night.
As per inputs, Uddin had been residing in the home of Taj Uddin Chowdhury in Dhanipur, where he was introduced as Chowdhury’s son.
Following a tip-off about Uddin’s illegal status, police conducted an investigation that led to his arrest last night.
